Sushi Chef: Bamboo Sushi is looking for amazing sushi chefs to add to our culinary roster. We are looking for someone who enjoys being busy and likes to work in a very positive, Team-oriented establishment. We are looking for someone who is seeking to find a restaurant to call home. Bamboo Sushi encourages career-oriented growth amongst its employees/staff and therefore, we look to hire on a long-term basis. Floor Manager: With this floor manager selection, we are looking to create an ever better and more productive work culture for our entire Team. It is our goal that we provide the most exceptional level of genuine hospitality and service for our Guests that we possibly can each and every day. That said we are looking for someone who is driven and aspires towards excellence day-in-day out within the service profession. It is imperative that our floor manager love people and have exceptional communication and organizational skills. A great manager pulls the best out of each person and understands that every person must be approached differently to obtain their best. A great manager must be able to do the following four activities extremely well: select a person, set expectations, motivate the person, and develop the person.
With that said, the responsibilities of our floor manager will be: selecting (hiring), motivating, interpersonal communication with FOH & BOH to create a great work culture, writing FOH schedules, training/teaching new hires (servers, hosts, bussers), creating policies, implementing policies, and ultimately creating the best service and hospitality possible. They truly set the mood and are the first and last people that each guest will see while dining at Bamboo Sushi. They control the entire pace, tempo, and energy of the restaurant each evening.
