Hi All,
I just wanted to take a quick moment to share some awesome news. Bamboo Sushi will be growing its wonderful team and we are opening up to our guests to let them know about it. We have just added an “employment” section to the website, so check it out and if you, or someone you know, would make a great fit, please apply. We are also moving close to Skip Jack Tuna season which is great, so watch out for that as well in the twitter and facebook feeds. Until next time, see you soon at Bamboo:)

Dear Blog Readers,
Thank you so much for the wonderful 2009. We are going to be continuing to improve our operations in 2010 and look forward to pursuing excellence for our guests and Team here at the restaurant. With that said, a couple things that you should all take note of is our quality of products. We have continued to improve them over the last 3 months and will continue to do so over the next few. Also, we will have a new menu coming out in the next week or two so we are excited to share that with you. Our new items are awesome! So please, let us know what you think about anything by responding to these posts or leaving us your thoughts on your comment cards in the restaurant. Thank you and we are greatly looking forward to a fun and tasty 2010!

Hi All,
I just wanted to write in and let you know what’s been happening around here. We are getting ready for the winter, which means, crab flights, uni, oysters, live scallops, spot prawns, geoduck, and some other great things!! That all said, something amazing has happened over the last few weeks and I wanted to let you all know first. We are getting our very own albacore boat. Yes, you understood that right. We are going to be most likely one of the only sushi restaurants in the world to have our very own fisherman and boat for our restaurant. We are going to have the highest grade, most sustainable albacore in the world, caught to our specifications, right here off the Oregon coast. So, get excited. Keep checking back, and I will keep updating you all with the progress of the situation. Just so you know too, the abacore from our boat is going to be in the restaurant in the next few weeks. Some come and get it, and check the events page soon to see videos and pictures.

There will be blogs from the chefs, our owner, and our fishermen and farmers. We want to give you all an inside look into how we make sustainability possible on such a large and complex scale and how we create our wonderful food.
